Redstone Foods, Inc. is hiring full-time, entry-level Warehouse Associates to join our 2nd shift Puller/Packer team. No prior order-pulling experience is required—we are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who are ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Our Warehouse Associates play an important role in our candy and craft soda distribution operations. Working in our 160,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned warehouse, you will pull and pack customer orders, maintain accuracy, and help keep the warehouse organized and safe.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
- Pay: $16.00 per hour
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM
- Training Schedule:
- Week 1: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Week 2: Transition to regular 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM
- Overtime: Mandatory overtime may be required during peak periods, including extended end times and occasional Sundays.
- Must be willing to cross-train on other warehouse teams and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Pull customer orders using printed pick lists.
- Locate products and follow efficient pathways throughout the warehouse.
- Transport picked orders using shopping carts or pallet jacks.
- Bring completed orders to the checking station for accuracy verification.
- Pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Keep work areas and the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety and operating procedures.
- Work as part of a team to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications
- No prior warehouse experience required; training provided.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Positive, dependable, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in different warehouse functions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push carts weighing 60+ lbs.
- Ability to safely climb and descend ladders.
- Ability to learn and safely operate a pallet jack.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to walk approximately 15,000 steps during a shift.
- Must be able to work required overtime when needed, including occasional Sundays.
