General Labor / Project Completion Assistant — Meraki Properties
Meraki Properties is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to help us finish a commercial project and get our business ready to open.
This is a hands-on position involving a variety of construction, maintenance, and finishing tasks. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with basic hand and power tools, takes pride in doing quality work, and can jump in wherever help is needed.
Responsibilities
Tasks may include:
- Touch-up painting and general painting
- Hanging and installing shelving
- Installing fixtures and miscellaneous items
- Building and installing concrete forms
- Assisting with exterior concrete work and pouring concrete
- Preparing areas for signage installation
- General cleanup and job-site organization
- Moving and organizing materials
- Minor repairs and finishing work
- Other miscellaneous tasks needed to complete the project and prepare the business for opening
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable performing physical labor
- Able to use basic hand and power tools
- Construction, maintenance, or handyman experience is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Able to work independently when given a task
- Must be able to lift and move materials as needed
- Valid driver’s license is a plus
