Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team on a day shift, Monday through Friday. This energetic role is vital to maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and supporting the safe handling of goods. Salaris at $19.00 per hour. SIGN ON BONUS $300.
Duties
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and loaders safely and responsibly
- Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Assist with inventory management through materials handling and order picking processes
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly storing products on pallets or shelves
- Support warehouse supervision by following operational procedures for heavy lifting and construction-related tasks when necessary
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments
- Skilled in operating forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues quickly
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual materials handling tasks
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes including load & unload procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership potential
