Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable Optometric Technician / Patient Care Specialist to join our growing team. This is a multi-faceted role that goes far beyond traditional optometric duties. While you’ll be trained and responsible for the full range of optometric services—glasses, contacts, pre-testing, etc.—you will also have the unique opportunity to work closely with patients in our specialized Sports Vision, Concussion, and TBI Therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-testing and diagnostic procedures for routine eye exams.
- Assist patients with frame selection, eyewear adjustments, and contact lens fittings.
- Manage patient flow and ensure a high level of customer service.
- Support our TBI and concussion therapy program, including vision training sessions (training provided).
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist in various operational areas of the practice as needed, including front desk, scheduling, and inventory.
Qualifications
- Previous optical or healthcare experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with patients of all ages.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and therapies.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus benefits.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
