We are a leading mattress manufacturer and we have been in business in New Jersey for over 100 years. We are looking for a hand-on Production Supervisor who thrives on the floor, leads from the front and knows how to motivate teams to hit daily goals.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise a team of 15–30 production associates
- Monitor staffing, attendance, and shift coverage
- Drive output, reduce downtime, and remove bottlenecks
- Train, coach, and develop operators and leads
- Enforce safety standards and company policies
- Track KPIs (labor efficiency, scrap, throughput, downtime)
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Planning teams
- Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
- Participate in shift production meetings and communicate clearly
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Experience managing hourly production teams
- Strong floor presence and leadership skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Able to hold team members accountable while building morale
- Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP/MRP systems, production tracking)
- Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA compliance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Full-Time. Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm.
Occasional overtime M-F from 3:30pm to 4:30pm and on Saturdays.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range is $50,000 to $56,000 depending on experience and ability.
