Delivery Driver positions are available in Chattanooga, TN, with Legacy Logistics and Transportation A FedEx Contractor!
The Terminal Is located in Downtown Chattanooga. Must have a smart phone with a data plan. You will be using a step van or a box truck. Training pay is $140/day and once training is completed pay will increase to $175/day. Training lasts between 1-2 weeks.
CDL License is NOT required!
Work Hours: 7:30am - delivery completion - When completed with your route you may be asked from time to time to assist other drivers, OT is required depending on the volume that day from the terminal.
DUTIES OF DELIVERY DRIVER:
- Deliver and pick up all packages daily w/in the prescribed time windows.
- Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily.
- Operate delivery van safely, securely and competently.
- Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company.
- Report to the station prepared to examine and organize daily load before departure.
- Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage
REQUIREMENTS For Employement:
- At least 21 years of age.
- MUST USE YOUR OWN CELLPHONE
- 1+ Year(s) verifiable professional driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record - No accidents or violations in 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
- Ability to obtain F endorsement on Driver's License (For TN residents Only)
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work 6 days a week during peak season (starting after Thanksgiving through New Year's)
