Position Summary:
Brock Civil is seeking a senior estimator to lead the estimating function for our heavy civil operations in Atlanta. You'll own the bid process from takeoff to submission, collaborate closely with project managers and engineers, and play a meaningful role in the company's growth by building relationships with clients we pursue repeatedly. This is a high-impact position with direct visibility to leadership and real influence over the projects we win.

Job Functions:
- Lead all estimating activities for Brock Civil, including quantity takeoffs, subcontractor solicitation, and bid assembly. AGTEK and B2W firm.
- Mentor and direct junior estimators as their primary point of guidance
- Partner with project managers and project engineers throughout the bid and pre-construction process
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and repeat clients
- Follow up on bids with owners and GCs to gather feedback and strengthen future win rates
Job Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of estimating experience in heavy civil or site construction
- Proficiency in AGTEK (required) and Bid2Win; Bluebeam experience a plus
- Comfortable estimating projects ranging from $500K to $2M+
- Strong communicator — able to engage clients, subs, and internal teams with equal confidence
- Detail-oriented and self-sufficient; able to own a bid start-to-finish without heavy oversight
- A sense of urgency and a track record of meeting bid deadlines
