HIS Constructors, Inc is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of mechanical experience working with diesel, hydraulics, electrical, engine component repairs on diesel trucks and construction equipment.
Pay negotiable based on experience.
Duties
- Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment.
- Fabricates parts and equipment as required to meet shop and customer needs.
- Small tool and equipment repair
- Vehicle oil changes and service
- Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems
- Performs check-ins and safety inspections and assists other equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as needed
- Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the field or other remote settings.
- Maintain safe work environment and perform duties in accordance with safety standards.
- Willing to go to the field for repair/maintenance when required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with technical school or training with 2 years of experience
- Extensive experience in lieu of technical school will be considered.
- Valid drivers license
- Class A or B CDL preferred
- Welding experience a plus
