Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining or shopping experience
- Operate POS systems such as SQUARE POS retail transactions, food orders, and cash handling
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Upsell menu items or retail products to maximize sales opportunities and boost customer satisfaction
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling, change distribution, and receipt issuance
- Assist with food preparation tasks and food handling to support kitchen staff during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
FLEXABLE SCHEDULE BUT 1 WEEKEND DAY / NIGHT IS A MUST
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
- Culinary or café experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
