Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals in need, using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. You will play a key role in supporting clients through emotional, psychological, and social challenges, helping them build resilience and achieve their personal goals.
Location: Southaven, MS
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday
Preferred: evening availability or weekend availibility
Compensation: Competitive pay + benefits for qualifying employees
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess clients’ mental health needs and guide treatment planning.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique situation.
- Therapeutic Services: Provide a range of interventions, including individual therapy, group therapy, behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Case Management: Maintain detailed, accurate clinical documentation and medical records, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including psychiatric nurse practioners, behavior analysts, LPCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, Psychiatrists, Addictionologists, social workers, and case managers deliver holistic, integrated care.
- Work with Co-Occurring Disorders: Provide care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, demonstrating comfort and competence in addressing substance use concerns as part of the treatment process.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and mental health treatment through continuing education.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure as one of the following: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes, treatment planning, and case management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding related to mental health services.
- Experience providing crisis intervention and therapeutic services (clinical experience preferred but not required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
