Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and life sciences industry, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be part of the Facilities Management department supporting ongoing projects and contractor oversight. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Pay Range: $55 to $60 per hour
What's the Job?
- Provide comprehensive project management support throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction coordination, execution, and project closeout.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with site requirements.
- Review and manage project-related documentation, including SOPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and training materials.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering Specialists, and Document Control to facilitate timely project execution and document management.
- Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance to support project logistics, scheduling, and site readiness, ensuring seamless integration with ongoing facility operations.
What's Needed?
- Experience overseeing facilities maintenance contractors and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with client-facing teams.
- Preferred experience in facilities management within life science or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and related tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to oversee onboarding of new contractors and manage existing contractor relationships.
