Cook (Prep & Line)
Position Summary
We’re looking for versatile Cooks who can support both prep and line operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of the full kitchen flow — from setting the team up for success during prep to executing dishes during service. You’ll be an essential part of keeping the kitchen running smoothly, cleanly, and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients through washing, chopping, slicing, portioning, and basic recipe execution
- Assist with sauces, dressings, stocks, and other prep components
- Set up, stock, and break down kitchen stations before and after service
- Cook and plate menu items during service according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety at all times
- Label, date, rotate, and store food properly (FIFO)
- Communicate clearly with teammates during prep and service
- Assist with cleaning, closing duties, and restocking as needed
- Support kitchen leadership and adapt to daily operational needs
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience preferred (prep cook, line cook, or similar)
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Schedule & Environment
- Mix of prep shifts and service shifts
- Evenings, weekends, and some holidays may be required
- Fast-paced, hands-on kitchen environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
