Duties
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble, hem, and finish garments according to design specifications
- Interpret patterns, technical sketches, and production instructions to ensure accurate garment construction
- Inspect finished products for quality, fit, and consistency, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety and manufacturing protocols
- Assist in fabric cutting and preparation processes when required
- Document work progress and report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques
- Proficiency with various types of sewing machines and tools used in manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of sewing principles, pattern reading, and fabric handling
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with production workflows
- Excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity for precise stitching and finishing tasks
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work collaboratively within a team environment
