We're seeking a hands-on Medical Billing Team Lead to ensure accurate billing operations in our Ormond Beach, FL office. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team is a must!
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review and analyze medical records to guarantee accurate coding and billing
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage for seamless billing
- Efficiently prepare and submit claims to insurance companies via electronic systems or mail
- Proactively follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure precise documentation and coding
- Lead and mentor a team of 4-15 members per account, fostering efficiency, accuracy, and growth within the team

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical billing is a must*
- Leadership experience in a similar role preferred
- Must have verbal skills
