Our graduates are confident women who are lifelong learners, spiritual seekers, and compassionate global citizens.___________________________________________________________________________Position Summary: Notre Dame Academy seeks a part-time College Counselor (approximately 20 hours per week) to work with students in grades 11 and 12 as they navigate the college search, application, and decision-making process.This role is both relational and strategic: the College Counselor partners closely with students and families to guide them through a thoughtful and personalized process, helping each student identify and pursue post-secondary pathways aligned with her goals, strengths, and aspirations.At Notre Dame Academy, college counseling is an extension of our mission to form confident, capable young women prepared for lives of purpose and impact.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Guide juniors and seniors through all aspects of the college application process, including school selection, essays, applications, and decision-makingMeet individually with students and families to provide personalized support and advisingWrite or coordinate school materials, including letters of recommendation and supporting documentationHelp students develop balanced and appropriate college listsSupport students in understanding financial aid, scholarships, and affordability considerationsTrack application deadlines and ensure timely submission of all materialsStay current on college admissions trends and maintain relationships with admissions representativesCollaborate with faculty, advisors, and school leadership to support students holisticallyCommunicate clearly and consistently with students and familiesMaintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student informationParticipate in relevant school events and meetings as appropriateUphold and model the mission and values of Notre Dame Academy
