Job Overview
Optimum Contracting is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our crew. We handle a wide variety of residential construction, remodeling, and property maintenance work, so no two days are exactly the same.
We’re looking for someone who is willing to work, can take direction, and is comfortable doing different types of construction work both inside and outside of homes.
Responsibilities
Work may include:
● Interior and exterior painting
● Installing LVP, laminate, and other flooring
● Baseboard, door casing, and other trim work
● Drywall hanging, patching, and repairs
● Door and window installation/replacement
● Siding, soffit, and fascia
● Roofing and gutter-related work
● Deck, porch, and exterior repairs
● Demolition and tear-out
● General home repairs and maintenance
● Jobsite cleanup and material handling
● Other residential construction and remodeling work as needed
What We’re Looking For
Construction or remodeling experience is preferred, especially someone with experience in multiple trades. However, we’re also willing to consider someone who has a good work ethic, is dependable, and is willing to learn.
You must be:
● Dependable and able to show up to work on time
● Willing to work both indoors and outdoors
● Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
● Able to perform physical construction work
● Willing to learn and take direction
● Able to work well with a crew
● Willing to travel to different job sites as needed
Having a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
Pay is based on experience and skill level. Someone who can come in and perform multiple types of work with little supervision will be paid accordingly.
We’re looking for people who want to work, learn, and become a long-term part of our crew.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
