Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health environments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to inform treatment plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
- Manage complex medical procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, wound suturing, and ventilator management.
- Document patient information meticulously in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in triage processes for urgent cases and provide critical care support in emergency or trauma situations within Level I or Level II trauma centers.
- Support patients with specialized needs such as memory care, behavioral health issues, hospice and palliative medicine, or those requiring dialysis or infectious disease management.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing with current state licensure.
- 2 recent references from a bedside facility!
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) is preferred.
- At least 1 year of bedside RN experience or trauma center exposure highly desirable. Experience in ICU, ER, MedSurg, Tele, PCU/Stepdown, Psych, Clinic, etc.
- Bedside experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe patient care delivery.
- Ability to perform advanced procedures such as lab specimen collection/processing, sonography support, or gastrostomy tube feeding is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Pay: $5,314.23 - $9,100.33 per month
