We are looking for an experienced Solar Electrical Installer to join our growing solar team. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow with a company that’s expanding across the residential solar and backup power industry.
Responsibilities
- Complete all electrical work for residential solar installations.
- Review CAD designs and compare them with site survey photos before installation to identify any design changes needed.
- Create and verify electrical material lists before each project.
- Determine when jobs require: Main Panel Upgrades (MPU), Main Panel Replacements (MPR), Tap Boxes, Line Side Taps
- Install and commission solar battery storage systems (Enphase, Tesla, Franklin, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and complete electrical inspections.
- Perform Generac generator electrical installations and service (preferred but not required).
- Work closely with installation crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or equivalent residential solar electrical experience).
- Previous experience with residential solar electrical installations.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience with service upgrades, line-side taps, and battery storage systems.
- Ability to read electrical plans and CAD drawings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
