Job Description
We are looking for a Fabrication Manager who will lead our fabricated insulation product team and ensure production team delivers maximum quality in a profitable manner. Your duties will include monitoring employees٫ organizing workflows and analyzing the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Fabrication Manager will accomplish manufacturing goals and objectives by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and employee accountability; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities are:
- Provide leadership and supervisory oversight of 75+ fabrication employees
- Establish daily٫ weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Perform verification of production output according to specifications
- Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to fabrication management
- Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards
- Ensure inventory practices are in line with company policies and procedures while maintaining financial control and count accuracy
Requirements are:
- 5+ years' experience of working on as a Manager or other similar position in manufacturing environment
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Good practical experience with MS Office
- Strong organizational and leadership skills٫ together with a results-driven approach
- Experience with Financial P&L responsibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and an efficient problem solver
- High School Diploma; advanced education desired, but not required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired, but not required
Compensation Range
$50,000.00 - $100,000.00
To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
