Front Desk Agent – Candlewood Suites Atlanta-Smyrna
Candlewood Suites Atlanta-Smyrna is looking for a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping guests, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play an important role in creating a welcoming and comfortable stay. Our hotel is an extended-stay property, so strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Check guests in and out using the hotel property management system
- Answer phone calls, assist with reservations, and respond to guest questions
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local restaurants, directions, and nearby businesses
- Process payments, verify guest information, and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest needs
- Monitor the front desk area and ensure it remains clean and organized
- Assist long-term guests with billing questions, stay extensions, and general needs
- Follow hotel policies and procedures for safety, security, and guest privacy
- Complete shift reports and communicate important information to the next shift
- Support the overall hotel team as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed
- Experience with hotel property management systems is a plus
