Medical Records Secretary

United Services is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Secretary to join our Dayville office. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of client medical records, including the timely entry, maintenance, and scanning of all documentation within the electronic health record system.

What You Will Do (Day to Day):
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of client medical records.
- Coordinate the release of confidential medical information to outside agencies, ensuring all releases are valid, complete, and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Prepare records for submission to outside agencies, including responses to subpoenas and court orders.
- Record scores from clinical scales and other pertinent information within the client record.
- Conduct thorough audits of medical records to ensure compliance and accuracy
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m.
Minimum Requirements:
An Associate’s Degree plus two years relevant experience or
High School Diploma plus four years relevant experience required.
Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Bilingual Spanish / English fluency preferred.
Salary Range:
- $17.81 - $20.15 per hour (depending on experience).
- Bilingual Spanish/English Fluency $18.71 - $21.17 per hour (depending on experience).

Work Location: This position requires employees to be fully present in the office.
