Job description
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in educating and caring for a group of children in the classroom. The Assistant teacher help implements the lesson plan created by the Lead Teacher. Assist the Lead teacher to ensure that children are safe.
The Assistant teacher is responsible for following Pa Licensing regulations and requirements, adhere to the STARS quality standards, comply with the company policy. Maintain a positive relationship with families, and maintain professionalism.
The Assistant Teacher must be a LEVEL A on the STARS Career pathway. 2 years minimum of experience working in a STAR 3 or 4 facility. A minimum of CDA or 9 ECE credits.
