RQ is hiring Pipefitters now for ongoing construction work at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA, and the surrounding area. Steady, long-term project work - great opportunity for candidates in Kingsland, St. Marys, Woodbine, Camden County, Brunswick, and the greater Jacksonville, FL area.
Pay: $20.94–$46.25/hour DOE - Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the base
Schedule: Full-time, on-site at Kings Bay Naval Base and surrounding project locations

The Job:
Join RQ's Mechanical team on an active military construction site. You'll assemble, install, and plan piping systems, applying journeyman-level pipefitting skills to code on a high-profile DoD project.
Required:

High school diploma or GED
-
4+ years of journeyman-level pipefitting experience (commercial, facilities, government, or military construction)

Mechanical pipe installation experience
Preferred:
-
Deep underground pipefitting experience

Copper and carbon steel experience
-
Start-up/energizing experience (boilers, chillers)

Valid Pipefitter license or journeyman card

OSHA-10, CPR, and First Aid certifications
