Placement Information:
- Looking to start ASAP (June 15th) with the right fit!
- One parent WFH and the other is a SAHM - needing extra support throughout the week so mom can run errands, appointments, etc.
About Job
- 4 days a week| Summer schedule - Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 9 am - 1 pm and Thursday 10am - 2pm (16 hours)
- Fall schedule will transition to Monday-Thursday 1 pm- 5 pm (16 hours)
- Family has two boys, the oldest has ADHD/Autism - Spectrum 1 (gets over-stimulated quickly)
- Be intentional but flexible with the boys, specifically the oldest. Someone who has experience with neurodivergent children is preferred.
- Engage with the boys and plan fun activities and spend time outside.
- Regulated, educational screentime is permitted at designated times.
- Encourages outdoor play in the backyard and the nearby park
- Mom would love to have time to herself in the mornings and be able to get other things done during the time while nanny is working. However, she will be available if needed.
Ideal Nanny Qualities
- Clear and easy communication day to day.
- Someone who is flexible
- A calm, understanding temperament
- Willing to redirect the boys when struggling or needing to correct
- Being confident and relaxed.
- Screen time is allowed but would like it to be limited for educational time.
- The family is committed to a 6 months minimum. Summer schedule will transition to fall schedule when school starts
Schedule & Logistics
- 4 days/week:
- Summer schedule - Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 9am - 1pm and Thursday 10am - 2pm (16 hours)
- Start ASAP (June 15th)
- Fall schedule will transition to 1pm-5pm Monday-Thursday
- 7 and 3 year old boy
- 3 dogs and 3 cats - no care is required, but must be okay with animals!

We're hiring professional, responsible nannies who are passionate about working with children and ready to build strong, long-term relationships with families.
- Experienced Caregivers: Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience (nannying, daycare, teaching, etc). 1 year of experience can be substituted for related education.
- CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain).
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with parents, follow care plans and update parents at end of day or throughout.
- Reliable and Professional: Punctual, trustworthy, and ready to work with high-quality families.
- Reliable Transportation: Willing to commute within the Portland metro and surrounding suburbs if doing on-call/maintained care with various families.
- Background Check Required: All applicants must pass a national background check.
