Overview
Lincoln Glass Company Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Glass Installation Project Coordinator to support the planning, scheduling, and execution of residential and commercial glazing projects. This role is responsible for coordinating customer orders, material procurement, installation schedules, and communication between clients, suppliers, installers, and project managers. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality service while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate residential and commercial glass installation projects from initial order through final completion
- Schedule installation crews, subcontractors, material deliveries, and project milestones
- Communicate with customers regarding project timelines, measurements, installation dates, and service updates
- Prepare and maintain estimates, work orders, purchase orders, invoices, project documentation, and installation records
- Coordinate procurement of glass products, aluminum framing systems, hardware, mirrors, storefront materials, and related supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available for scheduled projects
- Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, suppliers, and vendors to resolve scheduling or material issues
- Track project progress, maintain accurate operational records, and prepare status reports
- Assist with warranty documentation, service requests, and customer follow-up activities
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, quality standards, and applicable building regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, glazing, project coordination, building materials, customer service, or operations preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with office and field personnel
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- Experience with construction management software, ERP systems, CRM platforms, or scheduling tools
- Familiarity with commercial storefront systems, curtain walls, insulated glass units (IGUs), mirrors, shower enclosures, or architectural glass products
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, construction estimating, and project documentation
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and construction industry best practices
- Experience working with vendors, subcontractors, and field installation teams is considered an advantage
