Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Restaurant Crew Members to join our dynamic team. As a Crew Member, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have a positive dining experience through efficient service and food quality. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to help you succeed. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle cashiering responsibilities including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and cleaning food preparation zones
- Ensure food safety standards are met through proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating as needed in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting
- Support team members with food service tasks such as serving, food handling, and kitchen duties
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
Skills
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or cashiering in a restaurant or retail environment is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and grocery store operations
- Ability to work well in a team environment with good communication skills
- Experience in culinary arts or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required
