The Waste Collection Specialist is responsible for safely operating refuse collection vehicles to collect, transport, and dispose of solid waste and recyclables along assigned routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate garbage trucks safely and efficiently on scheduled routes
- Collect and transport waste, recyclables, or bulk items
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
- Interact professionally with the public and team members
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-B)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and reliability
This position is essential to maintaining clean, safe, and healthy communities.
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
