Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. The BCBA will lead behavioral assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and oversee data collection to ensure effective patient care and progress. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults by providing expert behavioral support within a compassionate and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments and functional assessments to identify individual needs and strengths.
- Lead behavioral therapy sessions for children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles tailored to each client’s goals.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and inform treatment adjustments while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide training, support, and guidance on behavioral strategies and intervention techniques.
- Perform patient assessments during intake processes and contribute to diagnostic evaluations as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in accordance with organizational policies and legal standards.
- Provide supervision to individuals who provide Behavioral Health Technician services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field
- BCBA Certification (or in the process of certification)
- LBS License in Pennsylvania (or in the process of licensure)
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable, Independent Transportation
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Proven experience working directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities within a clinical or home-based setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA), including designing behavior intervention plans for children on the autism spectrum.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices, medical terminology, and medical records management related to patient care.
- Experience conducting behavioral assessments such as functional analyses or diagnostic evaluations for neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards related to patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
- Prior experience in home-based behavioral intervention is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills necessary for working effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
