Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper to join our pharmacy team for the 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring that all items are packed securely and accurately. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pack, and label products for shipment according to company standards.
- Inspect items for quality and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Maintain an organized work area to ensure efficient packing processes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Attention to detail: Ability to focus on the specifics of packing processes to ensure accuracy.
- Time management: Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively to meet shipping deadlines.
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 80 pounds regularly.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills required
