A Furniture Salesman is responsible for guiding customers through the process of selecting and purchasing furniture that meets their style, functional needs, and budget. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales background, and an in-depth understanding of various furniture products, materials, and design trends. Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction, achievement of sales targets, and the ability to maintain a positive and professional store environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement:
- Greet customers upon arrival and determine their furniture preferences, requirements, and budget.
- Provide product knowledge, usage, and care advice to help customers make informed buying decisions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Achieve or exceed personal and store sales targets through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Present alternative product options, promotions, or packages to increase average transaction value.
- Collaborate with team members to implement sales strategies and promotions that boost store revenue.
- Product Knowledge & Merchandising:
- Stay up to date on the latest furniture lines, fabric types, and industry trends to provide the best advice.
- Maintain a neat and visually appealing showroom, rearranging displays as needed and ensuring all products are properly priced and labeled.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with the stock department to reorder popular items, and report any discrepancies.
- Customer Service & Relationship Building:
- Deliver excellent post-purchase support, including coordination with delivery services or addressing product issues.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for positive outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Administration & Reporting:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently (cash, credit, financing plans, etc.).
- Keep records of customer interactions, sales figures, and inventory issues.
- Prepare regular sales and customer feedback reports for management.
