Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity, safety, and comfort of our property by performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of the hotel’s electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems to identify issues before they impact operations.
- Perform repairs on electrical equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and mechanical components using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to diagnose electrical faults accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and follow safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and repair operations.
- Proficiency in electrical experience including electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using schematics.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair to ensure optimal water flow and drainage.
- Experience with HVAC system repair to maintain comfortable indoor environments efficiently.
- Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation effectively.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes or industrial environments is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English across diverse teams.
- Experience working with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with residential painting skills for aesthetic upkeep of the property.
