We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Assistant Warehouse Distribution Manager to support our warehouse operations. The main responsibilities include picking and packing orders, hand-loading box trucks, and supervising team members to meet daily productivity goals. This role is ideal for someone with experience in stock management within a Big Box retail environment and who thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee and participate in order picking and packing activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Hand-load boxes onto trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet daily picking and loading targets.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to improve productivity and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff and management to optimize workflow processes.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in warehouse, stock management, or retail distribution preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and lifting for 8+ hours daily.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and operate warehouse equipment safely.
