Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and reliable Local Ready Mix Truck Drivers with a minimum class B automatic CDL to operate commercial vehicles and deliver concrete to construction sites within the local area. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. This role involves transporting concrete and ensuring timely deliveries. Mixer truck experience not required, on job training available.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate concrete mixers to deliver materials to construction sites.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of concrete and related materials, adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations during transportation and on-site activities.
- Communicate effectively with plant management regarding delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Valid class B automatic CDL with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and reliability in meeting delivery deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass driving record background check and drug screening.
