We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in injection molding processes, troubleshooting, and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and company goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement injection molding processes for new and existing products.
- Daily machine startups
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and troubleshooting guides.
- Analyze and resolve production issues related to the injection molding process.
- Conduct trials and validation studies to ensure process robustness.
- Monitor and improve cycle times, yields, and overall production efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing teams.
- Stay updated with advancements in injection molding technology and materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in injection molding process development and optimization.
- Strong understanding of ENGEL injection molding machines, materials, and tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Plastic injection molding processing: 3 years (Required)
