About the Role
Fuze HR Solutions Inc. is partnering with a venture-backed fintech company operating at the intersection of private markets, brokerage infrastructure, and financial technology to hire a strategic Chief Financial Officer.
This is a high-impact executive opportunity for a finance leader with deep capital markets experience, strong investor relationships, and a proven background leading financing and strategic transaction efforts.
The ideal candidate will bring senior financial leadership experience from a Broker-Dealer, Registered Investment Advisor, fintech-enabled investment platform, asset manager, investment bank, private markets platform, or related financial institution managing client assets.
This CFO will work closely with the founders, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors to lead financial strategy, capital formation, investor relations, M&A activity, treasury, forecasting, and long-term growth planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the founders, executive team, and Board of Directors.
- Own finance, treasury, forecasting, reporting, capital planning, and financial operations across multiple entities.
- Lead future fundraising efforts, including significant equity capital raises and debt financing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, family offices, strategic investors, investment banks, RIAs, broker-dealers, and other capital providers.
- Support and lead M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and corporate development opportunities.
- Partner with leadership on capital allocation, liquidity planning, growth strategy, and long-term company direction.
- Build investor-ready financial reporting, Board materials, dashboards, and scalable finance infrastructure.
- Oversee financial operations across brokerage, investment, operating, and related business entities.
- Help position the organization for continued growth, future financing events, and potential strategic transactions.
Required Qualifications
All of the following are required for a candidate to advance to interview:
- Significant experience as a CFO, senior finance executive, Head of Finance, Corporate Development leader, investment banker, or capital markets professional.
- Experience in a senior financial leadership role with a Broker-Dealer or Registered Investment Advisor, ideally fintech-enabled, that manages client assets.
- Prior experience within a fintech, broker-dealer, RIA, investment bank, asset manager, private markets platform, or related financial institution.
- Proven experience raising large sums of equity capital from institutional investors.
- Proven experience completing M&A transactions.
- Demonstrated track record leading substantial equity raises, debt financings, or other capital formation initiatives.
- Existing network of institutional investors, private equity firms, venture investors, family offices, strategic investors, investment banks, RIAs, and broker-dealers.
- Experience leading or playing a significant role in M&A, strategic partnerships, financings, or other complex financial transactions.
- Strong Board-level, investor, founder, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with venture-backed, private equity-backed, or high-growth fintech companies.
- Familiarity with brokerage infrastructure, private markets, alternative investments, or capital distribution platforms.
- Experience scaling finance operations across multiple entities.
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or other advanced finance credential preferred.
