We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator and Insurance benefit coordinator to join our healthcare team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will serve as the vital link between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring smooth coordination of treatment plans, patient education, and administrative support. Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and follow-up care.
- Educate patients on their treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment instructions with clarity and empathy.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule procedures, consultations, and necessary diagnostic tests efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with privacy regulations and clinic policies.
- Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and billing processes to streamline financial interactions.
- Provide administrative support by managing appointment calendars, sending reminders, and handling patient inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication across departments.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient-centered service at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a medical or dental office environment with familiarity in healthcare administrative procedures.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology to accurately communicate treatment details and documentation requirements.
- Experience providing dental administrative support including scheduling, insurance processing, and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a medium-paced setting.
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey information to patients and team members alike.
- Office experience that demonstrates proficiency in managing administrative tasks efficiently.
