Licensed Sheet Metal Foreman – Commercial HVAC
About the Role
ATEK is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation crews. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage field operations, maintain quality and productivity, and ensure work is completed safely and according to plans. ATEK specializes in larger, ground-up projects that require expertise and experience with these types of jobs.
Compensation & Growth
- Competitive hourly pay starting at $42-45/hour
- 90-day probationary period with performance review
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise sheet metal crews on commercial projects
- Interpret drawings, specs, and project documents
- Plan manpower, materials, and daily work activities
- Ensure quality workmanship and productivity
- Enforce safety standards and company policies
- Coordinate with project managers, GC’s, and other trades
- Train and mentor crew members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial sheet metal / HVAC experience
- Prior foreman or lead experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- OSHA knowledge and commitment to safety
- Journeyman Sheet Metal License preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid driver’s license and SSN
