Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including evaluating mobility, strength, flexibility, and functional limitations
- Develop individualized care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics-focused interventions
- Implement treatment sessions across various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, hospitals, and home health visits
- Coordinate discharge planning by preparing patients for transition back into the community or home environment with appropriate exercises and safety instructions
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement
- Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and health maintenance techniques
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist with current registration in the applicable region
- Demonstrated experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and care plan development
- Proven ability to manage discharge planning effectively for diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics
- Hands-on experience with physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics-focused interventions
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients effectively

Pay: $96.00 - $144.00 per hour
