Join Our Family at Mobility City of North Texas Showroom Sales Specialist – Helping Customers Find the Right Fit. At Mobility City of North Texas, we’re a family-oriented, values-driven team that believes in showing up for our neighbors—especially seniors, veterans, and anyone whose mobility challenges affect their independence. What really matters to us is serving our community with compassion, honesty, and genuine care. If you’re someone who finds purpose in truly helping people, has a warm and friendly presence, and wants to be part of a tight-knit crew that works hard and supports each other, keep reading.
The Role: Sales Through ServiceThis is a showroom-based role where you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our interactive showroom while serving as the friendly face and helpful voice for customers who walk in or call. You’ll welcome customers with a warm greeting, answer incoming calls with a friendly, caring tone, and take the time to truly understand each person’s situation. This isn’t high-pressure selling. It’s service that naturally leads to sales. Your job is to ask the right questions, listen carefully, and help match each customer with the product that best fits their needs—whether that’s a powered scooter, lift recliner, stairlift, hospital bed, or something else. You’ll guide them through options, demonstrate products, and make sure they leave feeling confident they’ve found the right solution for their life. You’ll also oversee the showroom itself: keeping it clean, organized, and inviting, managing displays, ensuring products are properly stocked and presented, and creating an environment where customers feel welcomed and cared for the moment they walk through the door. It’s meaningful work that combines genuine human connection, consultative problem-solving, and the satisfaction of helping someone regain comfort and independence.
The Reality Check (We’re Honest About What This Takes)We serve aging customers with real and often urgent mobility needs. When someone calls or walks in, they’re usually looking for help—not a sales pitch. They need someone who will take the time to understand their situation and steer them toward the right product, not just the most expensive one. We’re looking for a self-starter with a true servant mentality. You’ll be trusted to run the showroom professionally when you’re here, handle calls and customers on your own, and make good decisions in the moment. We provide full training on our products, systems, and processes, plus a supportive team that has your back. We give you the dignity to learn and even stumble a bit at first—because that’s how real growth happens. What we can’t teach is heart, warmth, and the genuine desire to help people find the right solution. If you enjoy building rapport, asking thoughtful questions, and matching the right product to the right person, you’ll thrive here. Prior experience in consultative sales, retail, customer service, or healthcare-related fields is helpful, but the most important qualities are a friendly voice, a welcoming presence, and a heart for service.
Our Culture: Work Hard, Play Hard, Serve with PurposeWe’re a family organization grounded in faith and real values. We work hard every day because the people we serve deserve our best. We also know how to have fun—high fives after helping a customer find the perfect fit, encouragement during busy times, team support, and a culture where everyone grows together. You’ll be part of a team that celebrates wins and genuinely looks out for each other.
