Job Details

American Traveler is hiring a school-based COTA for a pediatric occupational therapy position in Redding, CA, with new graduates welcome to apply.

School-based assignment serving school sites in Shasta and/or Trinity County, CA
Pediatric and school-aged client population
Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week)
Therapist will travel to multiple school sites within the region
13-week assignment with possibility of extension through the school year
Any charting system experience accepted

Bachelor's degree required
Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant license required, if applicable
Valid Driver's License required
New graduates accepted, no prior experience required
NBCOT certification required
Experience with pediatric skills such as Activities of Daily Living required
Experience with Autism, Early Intervention, Handwriting, Learning Disability, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, Sensory Diet Program, Sensory Integrative Testing/Treatment, and Visual Perceptual Skills Testing/Treatment preferred

Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, and treatment program design and implementation for pediatric clients
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
