Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced CNC Mill Machine Operators (1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM / Monday to Friday) to join our manufacturing team in Santa Clara. This role is responsible for operating CNC milling machines, monitoring production, and ensuring parts meet quality specifications. Candidates must have hands-on shop experience operating CNC mills and be comfortable using precision inspection tools to verify part accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC milling machines such as Matsuura, 5-axis, and EDM, to produce parts according to specifications.
- Be able to use Zeiss CMM
- Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and report any defects or issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow production schedules and communicate any issues with supervisors or leads
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of CNC mill operating experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Hands-on shop experience required (school training alone is not sufficient)
- Experience operating CNC Mills (not CNC Lathes)
- Ability to use inspection hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
