BILLING SPECIALIST
Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, PayneCrest Electric, A Primoris Company, has been an established leader in providing solution-oriented industrial, commercial, and telecom electrical contracting services for large, complex, engineering-intensive projects for over 70 years.
We are seeking a professional candidate who has what it takes to support our Project Managers and Operations team's billing needs on a wide variety of projects. The perfect candidate values a fast-paced work environment and is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in construction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and issue customer invoices for time & material, service work, and contracted projects.

Review contracts, schedules of values, and change orders to ensure accurate billing.

Process progress billing, retainage, and final invoices.

Coordinate with project managers to verify job completion status and billable amounts.

Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries professionally.

Maintain billing records and documentation in accounting and job-cost systems.

Assist with lien waivers, pay applications, and customer compliance requirements.

Set up and maintain job information in accounting systems, including phase codes, billing templates, contracts, change orders, etc.

Prepare/process job cost adjustments as directed.

Ensure billing practices comply with company policies and contractual terms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years in a billing or accounting position, preferably in the construction industry.

Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Vista (formerly Viewpoint) experience a plus.
