Job Overview
Gone Wild Safari is looking for a dependable, hardworking Animal Feeder & Grounds Maintenance Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for the daily care of our outdoor animals by ensuring they are properly fed and watered while helping maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for both the animals and our guests. This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.
Job Duties
- Feed and provide fresh water to all outdoor animals according to established schedules and guidelines.
- Monitor animals during feeding and report any signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior.
- Clean and maintain feeding and watering equipment.
- Help maintain animal enclosures and surrounding areas.
- Mow grass, weed eat, and assist with general landscaping and grounds maintenance.
- Pick up debris and help keep the safari clean and presentable for guests.
- Follow all safety procedures and animal handling protocols.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support daily safari operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, and rainy weather.
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking long distances, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate lawn maintenance equipment such as mowers and weed eaters.
- Good observation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with farm animals, livestock, or exotic animals is a plus but not required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
