Preferred Schedule
Ideally, we're looking for someone who can work at our Summerville AND Mt. Pleasant contracts, ideal hours are:
Summerville: Tuesday and Thursday 4pm - 9pm
Mt. Pleasant: Wednesday 4pm - 9pm and one weekend day (totally flexible on time)

This role is built for someone who is reliable above all else. We serve clients who depend on us to show up, on time, every single shift. If you commit to a schedule, we need you there.
We're looking for someone who believes that cleaning is more than pushing a broom, it's being a crucial part of our clients team. We believe in unreasonable hospitality, we want to serve our client in ways that make them feel delighted to be in their space every day so they can serve their clients well.
Beyond reliability, our ideal team member:
- Takes genuine pride in doing thorough, quality work (not just "good enough")
- Follows instructions carefully and asks questions when something isn't clear
- Is comfortable working in veterinary and animal care environments (you'll be around animals and medical settings)
- Has reliable transportation to job sites in the Summerville and Mt. Pleasant areas
- Can pass a background screening
- Has prior cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience (preferred, but we will train the right person)

Compensation Breakdown
We believe in rewarding reliability and performance. Here's how pay works at Vivid:
Base Pay (Hourly)
- Entry Level (0-2 years experience): $12-$14/hr
- Experienced Cleaner (3+ years): $14-$18/hr
Growth Path
- Team Lead and Supervisor roles ($16-$18/hr) are available for team members with strong performance and leadership ability. We promote from within first.
What You'll Do
- You'll work alongside our the Team Lead and fellow team members to keep veterinary and healthcare facilities clean, sanitized, and ready for the professionals who use them every day. Our Operations Manager will work with you to train and ensure quality in all we do.
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces following facility-specific checklists
- Safely handle and properly store cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided)
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and consumables
- Follow sanitation and infection control procedures specific to healthcare and animal care environments
- Communicate with your team lead about any issues, maintenance needs, or supply shortages
- Ensure every space is client-ready before you leave

Our Hiring Process (What to Expect)
We respect your time and we move quickly:
- Apply through Indeed. We review every application and respond within 48 hours.
- Short phone screen. A quick 10-15 minute call to discuss the role, your availability, and confirm it's a good mutual fit.
- Paid orientation and trial shift. Before your first official day, you'll complete a paid orientation with our Operations Manager. This gives you a chance to see the work firsthand and gives us a chance to see how you work.
- You're on the team. Once orientation is complete, you're assigned to a crew and a consistent schedule.
We hire fast because we know good candidates don't wait around. If we're a good fit for each other, you can be working within one week of applying.

We want to be upfront: attendance and communication are non-negotiable at Vivid. Our clients trust us to show up, and our team members depend on each other. If something comes up and you can't make a shift, we understand that life happens, but we expect a phone call, not a no-show.
