Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders or retail purchases efficiently
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately
- Manage food service customer orders from preparation to delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness
- Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, counters, and checkout stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Handle cash register operations with precision, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation when needed while adhering to food safety management practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, handling, and safety procedures in a food industry setting
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
- Retail sales experience or grocery store background is a plus but not required
- Food service or café experience preferred; knowledge of food safety regulations is essential
