Position Overview
The Fort Worth Club Athletic Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Men’s Locker Room and Housekeeping Attendant to join our evening team. This position is primarily based in the men’s locker room and is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, fully stocked, and member-ready environment throughout the afternoon and evening.
This is a hands-on, member-facing role that supports the overall Athletic Center experience. In addition to the men’s locker room and wet areas, this position assists with restrooms, fitness spaces, towels, laundry, water bottle restocking, floor care, and evening closing duties. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and understands the importance of creating a clean and welcoming environment for members.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the men’s locker room, wet areas, restrooms, showers, vanities, and assigned member spaces.
- Restock towels, uniforms, vanities, water bottles, restrooms, and other member amenities throughout the shift.
- Collect, transport, and properly store laundry from the men’s locker room and assigned Athletic Center areas.
- Perform regular facility rounds to remove dirty towels, laundry, trash, and misplaced items from locker rooms, fitness areas, studios, courts, and common areas.
- Assist with cleaning and resetting cardio areas, weight rooms, studios, courts, restrooms, and other assigned Athletic Center spaces.
- Perform routine floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dust mopping, and keeping assigned floor surfaces clean and safe.
- Complete evening closing duties following established checklists to ensure the facility is clean, stocked, secure, and ready for the next day.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to members and guests, and report member concerns, maintenance needs, supply issues, or safety concerns to management.
- Assist with additional Athletic Center duties as needed, including occasional front desk support.
Qualifications
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Prior housekeeping, janitorial, locker room, hospitality, floor care, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning routines and checklists.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and good communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a member-facing private club environment.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting the Athletic Center team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and transport laundry, towels, supplies, and other items as needed.
- Basic computer skills are helpful but not required.
- Flexibility to assist in other Athletic Center areas when needed.

Work Environment
This position is performed indoors within a private club Athletic Center environment, including the men’s locker room, wet areas, restrooms, gymnasium, fitness spaces, studios, courts, laundry areas, and front desk areas. The role may include exposure to cleaning products, wet floors, laundry, and floor care equipment.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
- Some Saturdays may be required based on Athletic Center needs.
