Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and materials to various locations while ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport parts to designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload parts, ensuring proper handling and organization during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory as required.
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery, including stocking shelves and managing inventory.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Skills
- Experience in route driving or courier services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required.
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is beneficial.
