Dishwasher – Pullman Bar & Diner

Position Summary
Pullman Bar & Diner is seeking a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. Dishwashers are essential to the success of our restaurant, ensuring our kitchen operates efficiently by maintaining clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and workspaces. Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area throughout each shift.
- Operate and maintain the commercial dish machine according to safety and sanitation standards.
- Empty trash, recycling, and compost as needed.
- Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors and work areas.
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries when needed.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and other tasks as assigned.
- Restock clean dishes, cookware, and utensils throughout service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
