**Job Description – Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Urology)**
**Practice:** Isaac Madeb, MD – Urology
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing urology practice providing consultations in skilled nursing facilities throughout Brooklyn and Staten Island.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform urology consultations in nursing homes.
- Evaluate and manage urinary retention, BPH, urinary tract infections, hematuria, overactive bladder, kidney stones, and neurogenic bladder.
- Manage Foley catheters, suprapubic catheters, bladder scans, and trial of void protocols.
- Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record.
- Discuss complex cases with the supervising urologist.
- Coordinate care with nursing staff, primary care physicians, hospitals, and families.
**Qualifications**
- Current New York NP or PA license.
- DEA registration (preferred).
- Nursing home or geriatric experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to travel between facilities in Brooklyn and Staten Island.
