We are seeking a reliable, personable, and knowledgeable Budtender to join our retail dispensary team. In this role, you will be the face of our dispensary, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, guiding customers through their cannabis journey, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about cannabis culture, eager to learn, and highly dependable.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, provide tailored product recommendations, and process transactions accurately.
- Product Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cannabis strains, product types (concentrates, edibles, topicals), and their various physical and psychological effects.
- Compliance & Verification: Strictly adhere to state cannabis laws and regulations. Verify valid medical cards using the Cannabis Registry via Secure Access Washington (SAW).
- Dispensary Maintenance: Assist with daily inventory tracking, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant sales floor.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Open Availability: Must be reliable and available to work any shift, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but passion and a willingness to learn are essential.
